My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Gastendorf Waldheimat, and it was truly a delightful experience. As a culinary critic specializing in traditional Austrian cuisine, I seek out places that offer an authentic taste of Austria, and this hotel did not disappoint.One of the standout features for us was the hotel's family-friendly amenities. Our youngest, who is just two years old, felt right at home with the thoughtful facilities catering to children under three. From a designated play area to the availability of cribs, every detail was considered to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Even our older children, under 19, found plenty to do, from exploring the nearby village to enjoying the shared outdoor spaces for games and relaxation.The clean and warm rooms provided a cozy retreat after a day of adventures, and the proximity to the local supermarket and pub with delicious food made dining a breeze. The storage room for winter sports gear was a convenient touch, ensuring our equipment was always within reach.Gastendorf Waldheimat offers a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere that is perfect for families seeking a relaxing getaway.
